Literature Text
You stood from afar, watching the soldier sit on the couch. He had just been released from his imprisonment about six months ago and was adjusting still to the twenty first century, but it wasn't quite as smooth as Steve's transition.
Bucky was quiet, he didn't talk much at all, and when he did it was usually accompanied with a glare of some sort. You felt bad for him, having gone through your own transformation from evil to good.
You looked at the bowl in your hand and took a deep breath before walking further into the room.
"Hey Bucky."
He didn't even glance at you, but made a small fraction of a movement of his head, his way of saying you had his attention. You sat down next to him.
"You like ice cream?"
He shrugged.
"You like chocolate?"
"Not bad."
"What about dark chocolate?"
"Dark chocolate?"
"Yeah, there's different kinds. Try it."
He looked at you and you held out the bowl with a soft smile. He hesitantly took it, spooning a small little piece of the frozen treat. He pulled it to his mouth and tasted it.
As he tested it you spoke up.
"It's not like regular chocolate. It's a lot more bitter and strong, like black coffee."
He stayed silent and you kept going.
"Reminds me of you. An acquired taste, not to mention it's bitter, like you, though the name is misleading, like yours. Bucky doesn't exactly give off the vibe of… the Winter Soldier. Stiff too, and I've never seen you not tense. Some hate, some love. Sorry if you don't like it, that's all Thor left behind."
"I like it."
"Figured you would. I do too."
He took another bite and scooped some for you, holding it to your lips. You smiled softly and ate it, licking your lips after.
"This reminds me of you too. I know about your… past."
You sighed, "Not too far off from yours, really. But I'm good now, an Avenger."
"Still fairly bitter. Not now, but... You know what I mean. You're bittersweet."
"You could say I have a soft spot for you."
He looked in your eyes, "Because we're a lot alike? Or because of something else?"
"Who said it was only one of those possible answers?" You said with a twinkle in your eye.
He ate another bite of the ice cream, a tiny bit on his lips. Your eyes transfixed on his pink lips, biting your tongue in the process.
"You… You got a little something…"
He wiped his lip with his thumb and set the bowl down, looking at you.
"I like dark chocolate."
"So do I."
"I think you're like it."
"Back at ya."
He sighed and looked away, "Steve told me I was good at this in the thirties and forties."
"Good at what?"
He just shook his head and mumbled, "Fuck it." before quickly turning and pressing his lips to yours.
"I like you. You taste sweet."
You answered Bucky with a kiss, the ice cream long forgotten on the table.
"You're bitter."
He smiled slightly and pecked your lips, "So we're bittersweet."

Take a Chance on Me (Bucky x Reader Songfic)
( A/N! I ALMOST FORGOT. HERE IS THE SONG IF YOU WANT TO LISTEN TO IT!! http://youtu.be/dp-nuAw8Vwc ) UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2015: I went and fixed the grammar and spelling errors, as well as problems with some of the sentence structure. I hope it's a little bit better!
Ah, Mondays. The worst day of the work week. Well, the worst day of the work week for normal people.
You, of course, didn't have to worry about that.
You were now a member of the Avengers, and work no longer concerned you.
~
After moving into the Stark Tower after the battle of New York, Mondays became your favorite day of the week.
You woke up early, made the team breakfast

Aeviternity{Bucky Barnes/Reader}
The minute you step into your apartment, you know that something is off. The sounds from the street below are far too clear, as if there’s a window open somewhere- and you know that they had all been shut when you left that morning. And your gut tells you that there is something terribly, awfully, wrong.
You tense, and begin to step more carefully, your footfalls almost noiseless, as you advance further into your home- hands clenching into fists at your sides almost unconsciously, leaking wisps of blue light, a manifestation of your power.
Because you know that this isn’t just some standard break-in by a robber—your front

Alive (Steve X Reader)
Silence, cold and darkness surrounded you. Every inch of your body was numb. You struggled to breath, but your chest barely moved against the dull pressure. You desperately tried to move, to scream, to cry, but your voice was stuck in your throat and you were completely immobilized.
Minutes or hours could have passed, it was hard to tell when all you could hear was you own thoughts and ragged breath. You never felt so frightened in your entire life. You were helplessly trapped, dying in the most painful and slow of the ways.
That was the worst feeling for someone like you, who had no one in life. Now you would also die alone. You felt like
