You sighed as you walked into a bar near Stark Tower. It was your birthday, but the celebration wouldn't be until after Christmas due to hectic schedules and whatnot. You moved to the bar and sat down, ordering a beer and taking a look around.
Not too many people were here, seeing as it was cold and a Sunday night. Which was perfect, because you didn't really need too many people around you.
You paid for your drink and sipped on the cold beer. You something sitting in the dark, shadowy corner caught your eye, and you narrowed your eyes.
Is that...?
You stood and approached the figure immediately. You sat down in front of him and said nothing, instead sipping on your beer and winking at him.
"Didn't think you'd be one to drink at bars."
"There's a lot you don't know about me, Agent (Last Name)."
You shrugged, "If you feel like sharing, table's open."
"That won't be necessary."
You sighed and looked around.
"What are you doing here, Agent?"
"Havin' myself a birthday beer. Cheers." You said rather unenthusiastically, tilting your beer his way.
To your surprise, he lifted his drink as well and clanked it against yours, "Happy birthday, Agent. One more year you've survived without dying."
You snorted and drank your beer, sitting in a rather comfortable silence with the Director. What he said next shocked you.
"It's my birthday too, Agent (Last Name)."
You looked at him and blinked, saying the first thing that came to mind. "I didn't know you had a birthday, Fury."
He chuckled lightly, "I'm a bit surprised myself."
He sighed and leaned back a bit, looking at one of the many retro posters that littered the walls of the quaint bar.
"Yep... Sixty-six years ago today. my mother brought me into this world. I'm still trying to figure out how the hell I managed to stay alive this long."
You chuckled, "I ain't that old, but my time's comin'. If I'm lucky."
Fury nodded his head your way, "And I hope you will be."
You smiled softly, "Hey Nick? Happy birthday."
He nodded his head in silence. You both sipped on your drinks for a while.
"I'd think Stark would throw the biggest party he could for you."
You sighed, "He's on a mission in Russia, remember? He had Jarvis send all his love, and I got a short little video from him, but that's it."
"Better than nothing, Agent."
You nodded with a soft smile, "If he doesn't propose this year, I'm making him do it."
"Well, good luck with that. Agent Hill and I often wonder how the hell you managed to tie that mother fucker down."
"Sex." You responded simply.
Fury shook his head with a hint of a smile, "Well, Agent, I think I'll take my leave."
You finished your beer and stood with him, holding your hand out for him. He shook it and you briefly hugged him.
"Happy birthday, birthday buddy. Same time next year?"
Fury cracked a soft, soft smile that you barely saw.
"If we're both alive."

“Are you ready?” Bruce asked for the umpteenth time.
“Yes, Bruce,” you replied with an irritable sigh.
“He can be a little intimidating,” your brother warned.
“Bruce, I’ll be fine,” you insisted. “I’m not afraid of a half-blind man with a gun.”
Bruce gave you a sideways glance before knocking on the door to Director Fury’s office.
“Enter.” Without hesitation, you entered the office alongside your brother.

Shorter shot. There wasn’t really a plot to follow, just a story about you being Nick’s weakness.
Nick Fury was a hard man. Years of working for and with SHIELD had made him so. He was frightening and temperamental; a man on whose bad side nobody wanted to be. He made a great leader with his independent leader personality. His agents respected him enough to follow his orders and the Avengers knew better than to directly disobey. He had worked hard and earned his position at the top.
But they say that everyone has a soft spot, and you were Nick’s.

We're Friends // Steve x Reader x Bucky
Amazing wasn't a word you usually used to describe things, but now, it seemed needed.
Steve had called you to see if you'd like to watch a movie with him—you'd agreed, obviously ecstatic when you practically screamed "Yes!" over the phone. Then, he'd asked if he could bring a friend along, and you were too happy to even think about his question, so you screamed yes again.
It literally only took you a matter of seconds to get ready. Time flew by and you were sitting on your couch, not nearly as still as you'd hoped to be but every bit of excited as you were the last minute. Dressed in a measly black tank top and cute, breezy gray skirt,
